Srlla Prabhupada Tirubhava Observance at Radha Damodar Mandir
Devotees from around the world gathered together at the Radha Damodar temple at 7 pm on 22 October 2009 to observe the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada from this world in 1977. The murti of Srila Prabhupada was brought out from his room onto the veranda and seated for all to gather and worship him.
Flower garlands, incense and rose petals were offered by the assembled devotees and at 7:20 pm, the exact time of Srila Prabhupada's disappearance and entrance into his eternal pastimes with Krsna, an arotika was offered to Srila Prabhupada by Sri Nirmal Chandra Goswami, Sevaite Acarya of the Radha Damodar Temple.
A guru puja kirtan was led by Swami Narasingha, Krsna Balram Goswami and Purnachandra Goswami. Other disciples of Srila Prabhupada present in addition to Swami Narasingha were Jayadeva Goswami Dasa, Swami Muni and Swami Vishnu.
Many hundreds of devotees took the opportunity to have Srila Prabhupada's darshan and offer flower petals to his divine form. The program was very enlivening for all.
